Introduction

This page is to contain a listing of individual Leiden numbers in order as links to the corresponding wiki page (generally the links will be to redirect pages, if the Tablet in question already exists under another name. For example, Leiden no. 27 below brings one to a redirect page leading to the wiki page Kitáb-i-Aqdas.

To see the list as one very large document, see Leiden List. To see a list of the individual Tablets only (without descriptions but linked to the individual Tablet pages, see Leiden Tablets.

Getting Leiden numbers to redirect to Tablets

If you would like to redirect a Leiden number to an appropriate page onsite here (this would be a big help for those pages not yet added), just type in #REDIRECT [[ThePage]] on a single line by itself replacing "ThePage" with the name of the wiki page to which you wish the Leiden page to be directed. Reasons for having and keeping these Leiden number redirect pages

We are keeping the redirect pages for two reasons:

  1. It will allow those comfortable with searching the Leiden numbers at http://bahai-library.com/resources/leiden.list/leiden.list.html to jump directly to their page of interest from this page you are now reading, without needing to consider the title of their Tablet of interest.
  2. It will allow those comfortable with searching the Leiden numbers at http://bahai-library.com/resources/leiden.list/leiden.list.html to jump directly to their page of interest by predictably adjusting the last elements of the URL's onsite (whether they are typing it in live or giving someone a reference, or if they are making a compilation/Leiden list cross-reference, etc.) . (e.g., someone not even onsite yet who types in the URL in the browser (or in their HTML code) can type in http://www.bahai9.com/Leiden<number> such as http://www.bahai9.com/Leiden27 and can go directly to their page of choice)

And if the Leiden numbering ever changes, we can begin the numbering to redirects with another prefix (e.g., http://bahai9.com/LeidenB<number>)

There is the problem, however, that all pages should link to the actual Tablet and not to the Leiden number redirect since "What Links Here" will not display the items for redirects leading to the page.

Progress to date on adding the redirect pages

Finished adding redirects and pages for Tablets in Tablets of Bahá'u'lláh--those that I could find at least--and in Summons of the Lord of Hosts.)
