Chapter 5 (trespass/sin offerings)

• against:
  • 1: failing to testify if one was a witness (to an oath) (see oaths)
  • 2: touching unclean things or carcasses (see ritual uncleanliness)
  • 3: touching unclean man (see ritual uncleanliness)
  • 4: making a hasty oath, whether good or evil (see oaths)
• 5: need to confess for offenses in 1-4
• 6-13: procedures for an offering (for offenses in v.1-4)

• 14-16, 18: procedures for an offering (for a sin committed out of ignorance)
• 17, 19: those ignorant of the law are still held accountable
