Certain amount of truth in physiognomy bit too much exaggerated by its advocates[edit]

"The Master has said that there is a certain amount of truth in numerology, physiognomy etc. but it is too much exaggerated by those who advocate them."

(From a letter dated October 27, 1926 written on behalf of Shoghi Effendi to an individual believer: Spiritualism, Psychic Phenomena and Related Subjects, in Lights of Guidance, no. 1757)

There is a wide difference among races[edit]

"From the standpoint of physiognomy there is a wide difference and distinction among races. The Asian, African and American have different physiognomies; the men of the North and men of the South are very different in type and features."

(Promulgation of Universal Peace, pp. 189-190)
