The Báb's claim to be God
(The Báb stating "Verily, I am God")[edit]
“Verily, verily, I am God, He besides Whom there is none other God, and I am the Ancient of Days.”
(The Báb stating "there is none other God but Me")[edit]
“Verily God and every created thing testify that there is none other God but Me, the Almighty, the Best Beloved.”
(The Báb stating His letter is from God)[edit]
“This is a letter from God (the Báb) the Help in Peril, the Self-Subsisting, unto God (Bahá’u’lláh) the Almighty, the Best-Beloved, to ....express my undoubting faith that there is no God but thee.”
Doing good to the Báb is as doing good to God[edit]
“He who doeth good unto Me, it is as if he doeth good unto God.”
