See my dream list for the ideal wiki system at http://www.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Brettz9/dreamwiki
Specifically for Bahá'í Library Online, I would love to see the Writings themselves added to a collaborative database, where though the Writings themselves would be locked (noneditable), one could see which publications a specific Tablet (or even paragraph/page/sentence, etc.) was published in (this data would not be in separate lists, but in an integrated database which could then be sorted by users--e.g., to see all commentary and translations for a particular verse).
It would be ideal, I feel, if certain codes could be added and automatically recognized in linking to the Writings (e.g., KA5 on a wiki page could ideally link to the fifth paragraph (or page perhaps) of the Kitáb-i-Aqdas with the full text also printed (e.g., "Kitáb-i-Aqdas, par. 5"). Likewise such codes would be ideal in word-processors, etc. also.
(A mock-up of this is at https://bahai-library.com/zamir/kawiki.html )
Not only would it be ideal that one could view a corresponding wiki page for the Writings, but one should be able to see, when viewing the Writings, whether the page/chapter/section/paragraph (or even sentence) had been discussed (or had cross-references). This could ideally also appear in two columns within a webpage (i.e., be viewable at the same time). Thus when reading the Writings sequentially, one could see if a challenging passage had already been explained or contextualized elsewhere (whether by the authoritative Writings or by an individual believer), for example.
(more intended including a tabular example of the idea above)
