Bahai9:Tips on searching Bahá'í content
Bahá'í Content Search options[edit]
In addition to the Special:Search page (also accessible from the side-bar of each Bahá'í9 wiki page as a search box), and in addition to the searching of the main Bahá'í Library Online site (at https://bahai-library.com ) which searches all content within the Bahá'í library, one can use advanced searches at Yahoo or Google to search selectively within only one specific site. Yahoo allows searching of content within URL's (via their "advanced" search), so it is possible, for example, to use Yahoo to search only content which is at https://bahai-library.com/writings (or which includes "writings" elsewhere in the URL). This is useful for searching just the Bahá'í Writings (or only the newspaper articles, books, etc. at the Bahá'í Library Online).
Customizable supplementary search software[edit]
Several applications function as search tools which allow a person to customize the websites which they search, so it is possible for one to add any of the above-mentioned sites to these applications for quick or otherwise more convenient searching (which does not require a person to say wait for a browser window to load). Some of these programs are highlighted at WikiPedia:Wikipedia-Supported Software. One of the programs highlighted there is further discussed at our own wiki sites here: tips on citing the Bahá'í Writings
