Sabaenism (Founder unknown) is one of the nine still existing true religions[edit]

"The number nine, which in itself is the number of perfection, is considered by the Bahá'ís as sacred because it is symbolic of the perfection of the Bahá'í Revelation, which constitutes the ninth in the line of existing religions, the latest and fullest Revelation which mankind has ever known. The eighth is the Religion of the Báb, and the remaining seven are: Hinduism, Buddhism, Zoroastrianism, Judaism, Christianity, Islám and the religion of the Sabaeans. These religions are not the only true religions that have appeared in the world, but are the only ones which are still existing. There have always been divine prophets and messengers, to many of whom the Qur'án refers. But the only ones existing are those mentioned above."

(From a letter written on behalf of Shoghi Effendi - 28 July 1936, Compilation on Buddha, Krishna, Zoroaster and Related Subjects, no. 13)

"The nine religions to which you have referred include both the Bábí and the Bahá'í Dispensations, Bahá'u'lláh being the ninth Prophet in the series. The other Prophets included are Zoroaster, Krishna, Moses, the Christ, Muhammad, Buddha, the Prophet of the Sabaeans Whose name is unrecorded, the Báb and Bahá'u'lláh.... Buddha appeared in the Adamic cycle...."

(From a letter written on behalf of Shoghi Effendi - 13 July 1938, Compilation on Buddha, Krishna, Zoroaster and Related Subjects, no. 14)

Sabaenism flourished in Chaldea; Abraham is considered to be a Sabaean[edit]

"As to the religion of the Sabaeans, very little is known about the origins of this religion, though we Bahá'ís are certain of one thing, that the founder of it has been a divinely-sent Messenger. The country where Sabaeanism became widespread and flourished was Chaldea, and Abraham is considered as having been a follower of that Faith."

(From a letter written on behalf of Shoghi Effendi - 10 November 1939, Compilation on Buddha, Krishna, Zoroaster and Related Subjects, no. 15, in Lights of Guidance, no. 1694)

Records not conclusive to establish whether Sabaean or Hindu religion is older[edit]

"With reference to your question concerning the Sabaean and Hindu religions: there is nothing in the Teachings that could help us in ascertaining which one of these two Faiths is older. Neither history seems to be able to provide a definite answer to this question. The records concerning the origin of these religions are not sufficiently detailed and reliable to offer any conclusive evidence on this point."

(From a letter written on behalf of Shoghi Effendi - 9 November 1940, Compilation on Buddha, Krishna, Zoroaster and Related Subjects, no. 16, Op. cit., in Lights of Guidance, no. 1693)

Inventer of Logic Attributed to be a Sabean (Idrís?)[edit]

"Every one of the eminent divines both studies and teaches the science of logic, although they consider its founder to have been a Sabean. Most of them have insisted that if a scholar has thoroughly mastered a variety of sciences but is not well grounded in logic, his opinions, deductions and conclusions cannot safely be relied upon."

('Abdu'l-Bahá, Secret of Divine Civilization, p. 31)
Note: If the above can be seen as confirmation of the founder of logic being a Sabean, since Idrís is supposed by some to be a founder of Sabaeanism and the founder of philosophy (see Idrís or Tablets of Bahá'u'lláh, p. 148), perhaps this would be further endorsement of the idea of Idrís being its Founder.
