Sunday worship

Prayer to be chanted and supplication made until all gather; then make communion and read sacred readings together with melodious voices[edit]

"Regarding arrangements for the Bahai Sunday meeting for the purpose of worship, this is very suitable that first, prayer should be chanted and supplication made until all gather; then communion should be made. After praying, sacred readings with melodious voices should be read by all together."

(Words of 'Abdu'l-Baha, in Star of the West, vol. 13, issue 10, p. 276)

Gather steadfast friends once a week where they praise and glorify Lord[edit]

“Once in every week, gather ye the steadfast friends together in a meeting place, and there let them engage in praising and glorifying the Lord.”

('Abdu'l-Bahá, *Bahá’í Meetings/The Nineteen Day Feast*, p. 6)
